Another weekend has come to an end *sad face*... Not much happened this week - I mean it was so busy my head is still spinning, but I don't think I have any inspiration to share or anything. I finally got a due date out of my instructor for the group project - YAY!... I wouldn't say the project is necessarily going better than it was - but our control freak has been outed. She made the mistake of "tattling" on me to the instructor this week. (I know, is this 4th grade or what, eh??) My Grandmother's old saying "It always ends in tears" rang truer than ever when my instructor literally made her cry. He jumped to my defence so fast it made her head spin. I'm not gonna lie - I had a hard time not laughing... It sure made working in our groups awkward too - no one wanted to talk to her after that... (including me!!!) So I spent the week in a really weird place - feeling totally betrayed by a classmate but feeling a new sense of confidence after my instructor so blatantly had my back on the situation. All I can say is I can't wait for this thing to be over - it can't end soon enough...
I started my Christmas shopping this afternoon. I was also reminded why I detest shopping at Superstore. I love their selection, I love their prices, I don't like the crowds and after standing in line for 15 minutes just to pay for my stuff I decided my time was probably worth more than the savings... hmm... The good news though - I bought a selection of chocolate that I'm going to melt down and make chocolate coffee spoons with. Yummy - gotta love Christmas!
Our family was invited to the Plett family shower last night. It was a blast - and although Niki warned us it would be a total gong show, it really wasn't... Just wait til you attend your first Watson Reunion hunnie! lol... We could seriously get the contract for a reality tv show some years...
Well, I think this frosty evening calls for a cup of coffee, a Ferrero Rocher or two, and a Cowboys game... My plan this week is to take a step back, hum a Christmas tune, take another sip of coffee, and savour every moment because all too soon the holidays will be but a memory... Cheers!
