Little Update!!

Little update on my crazy life (for those of you who haven't totally deserted my blog yet!! bless you! haha)

5 more weeks of class til Finals - exciting and terrifying all at the same time! Things are going alright, however I blew an E-business test on Thursday morning (60%!) geez... I had to laugh because it was just so out of character and terrible... Whatever - you can't get it back so you might as well let it go, right? Assignments are starting to stack up coming into the end of the term so the stress is totally going through the roof. Good times... Hopefully I'll get some sleep between online labs this weekend - but I'm not holding my breath...

I got a call out of the blue last week - Linda from the Lodge - offering me a job for the summer - willing to match and better what I'm making now here in town. Go me! I'm really excited about having another summer at the lake - it's been a few years since I was there full time. It will be so good to have a relaxing, laid-back, slow paced summer before heading into year two. I know some people would say that I'm foolish not to take a job in my field of study, but quite frankly I don't care. With the way our economy is right now (and after seeing my fellow classmates struggle to get jobs & one of my friends laid off) I decided that guaranteed hours with people I like at the lake making more than minimum wage?? - experience can go fly a kite for this summer!!

Spring is here - today in fact, I think... Niverville is basically one big ugly puddle - we drain to the middle - how's that for ingenious landscaping, eh?? haha

TGIF - gonna spend the next couple of hours working on homework and then it's off to my nice warm bed - bed may come sooner rather than later, it's been a long week and I'm exhaaaaaaausted...
